Agnes Gaydos, 92 of Donora, PA died on Monday, February 10, 2014, at Juniper Village in Forest Hills, PA.

She was born Tuesday, August 23, 1921 in Monessen, PA the daughter of the late Mattias and Anna (Borzik) Bacha

She was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Church in Donora and its Christian Mothers and Womens Guild.

In addition to her parents, Agnes was preceded in death by her husband Stephen P. Gaydos; five sisters, Mary, Elizabeth, Margaret, Helen and Anne; and three brothers, Matthew, John, and Michael.

Surviving are a daughter, Maureen (Frank) Leonardo of Pitcarin; three sons, Stephen (Josie) Gaydos of Vermont, William (Renny) Gaydos of Virginia and Joseph (Kimberly) Gaydos of Merrittstown, PA; eight grandchildren, Waker Gaydos, Franny (Dan) Theoret, Joseph (Kathleen) Leonardo, Sarah (Jason) Pontillo, Nelson J. Gaydos, Justin Gaydos, Rachel Gaydos, and Ryndi Gaydos; a great granddaughter, Claire Theoret; also several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 www.massafrafuneralhome.com where prayers will be recited on Thursday February 13, 2014 at 9:30 AM follwed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Valley Church located at 1 Park Manor Road and Second Street Extension Donora, Pennsylvania 15033 with the Rev. Fr. Pierre M Falkenhan as celebrant.

Interment will be in St. Dominic Cemetery, Donora, PA.

A rosary will be recited by the Christian Mothers and Womens Guild on Wednesday at 2:30 PM in the funeral home..
