Alexandria "Sandy" Kostolansky, age 75, of Donora, PA, died Thursday, October 1, 2015, at Monongahela Valley Hospital in Carroll Twp., PA.

She was born November 18, 1939, N. Charleroi, PA the daughter of the late Andrew and Blanche (Brazen) Mauser.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Regina Kutska.

Sandy graduated from Donora High School in 1957 and California University of Pennsylvania in 1990.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph P. Kostolansky Jr.; two daughters, Paula (Jim) Ferrato of Barrington, RI and Mary (Rick) Wagner of Cincinnati, OH; three sons, Joseph (Teresa) Kostolansky of Seattle, WA, Michael (Elizabeth) Kostolansky of Summit, NJ and Timothy (Hifumi) Kostolansky of Walnut Creek, CA; 10 grandchildren, Margaret, Katherine and Anna Ferrato, Abigail, Timothy, Stephanie, Emily, Tim, Mike, and Katie Kostolansky; a sister. Nancy Mauser of Rostraver Twp.; a brother, Andrew (Sandy) Mauser of Donora; also several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 www.massafrafuneralhome.com where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, October 4, 2015. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Monday October 5, 2015 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Valley Church at 10:00 AM with Rev. Fr. Pierre M Falkenhan as celebrant.

Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela, PA
