Andrew "Jim" Anderson, age 79, of Donora, PA, died Monday, January 6, 2025, at Jefferson Hospital in Jefferson Hills, PA surrounded by his loving family.

He was born December 23, 1945 in Pittsburgh the son of the late Axel Anderson and the late Elizabeth Greenlee Anderson. Jim lived his entire life and raised his family in Donora.

He was a member of the St. Andrew the Apostle Parish and the Donora Knights of Columbus. Jim spent 45 plus years working in the financial industry in downtown Pittsburgh.

In addition to his parents Jim was preceded in death by his son Brian Anderson; a great granddaughter Carolina Belle Katonik; and a brother Donald Anderson..

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years Peggy Stinogle Anderson; his children, James (Joann) Anderson of Pittsburgh, Gary (Sheri) Anderson of Donora, Kristine (Dan) Levi of Rostraver Twp., and Megan (Greg) Ghilani of Rostraver Twp.; Grandchildren, Bryan (Amanda) Levi, Cordero Jackson, Jessica (David) Katonik, Aliecia Anderson (Eren), Shannon Forsythe, Emily (Dominick) Francia, Maura Anderson (Jesse), Carley (Tyler) King, Dane Axel Levi, Dominic Ghilani, Luca Ghilani and Maryn Ghilani; Great Grandchildren, Carter, Martay, Stella, Luca, Jolene, James, Dani, Salvatore, Kali, Carmela, and Franco; two brothers Patrick (Patty) Anderson and Dennis Anderson; also a sister-in-law Brenda Anderson.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 9, 2025. and from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM,and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, January 10, 2025. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Saturday January 11, 2025 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Andrew the Apostle Parish Donora Campus.

Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery, Monongahela, PA
