Anita Kozar, age 84, of Carroll Twp., PA, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital in Carroll Twp., PA.

She was born on February 8, 1940, in McKeesport, PA.

She was preceded in death by her father Raymond Norton and mother Maria Elena (Perez) Norton, and her first husband Richard Malinchak.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband Ronald Kozar, a daughter Carolyn Moffett, a grandson Nicholas Moffett, and a stepson Ronald Kozar Jr.

Anita was a member of the St. Andrew the Apostle Parish. She loved bingo, going to the casino, and was a huge Pittsburgh sports fan, especially the Pens! Anita was an amazing cook and will be fondly remembered for her Christmas parties and Thanksgiving dinners.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033, 724-379-6900, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, August 12, 2024. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Tuesday, August 13 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Andrew the Apostle Parish Donora Campus with Rev. Fr. Thomas Kadlick as celebrant.

Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela, PA.
