Antoinette T Rygiel, age 91, of Donora, PA, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord Sunday, October 19, 2014, at Monongahela Valley Hospital in Carroll Twp., PA.

She was a member of the Our Lady of the Valley Church in Donora.

Antoinette was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved spending time with her family.

Though she endured many complications from diabetes she still managed to find joy in day to day living. She loved listening to music and clapping and whistling along. Thanks to her loving family she spent her final years in the comfort of her own home.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Walter Rygiel; a sister, Rose Sismondo; and a brother Sam Scalise.

Survivors include her daughters, Cathy (Keith) Siebert of Donora, Mary Lou (William) Kramer of Belle Vernon, Linda (Roy) Sarver of Monongahela and Annette (John) Marcius of N. Huntingdon; a sister, Nancy Caso of Altoona; 10 grandchildren, Shelley, Sherri, Tracy, Renee, Ryan, Kimberly, Christina, Violet, Johnny and Sharon; also 10 great grandchildren.

Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 www.massafrafuneralhome.com where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Wednesday, October 22, 2014. and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, October 22, 2014. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Thursday October 23, 2014 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Valley Church at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Fr. Pierre M Falkenhan as celebrant.
Interment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA
