Bernice Sampler's Obituary
Bernice Sampler, age 88, of Eldora, PA, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2025, at her home with her loving family by her side.
She was born March 5, 1937 in Monessen the daughter of the late Matthew Gladys and the late Agatha Timinski Gladys.
She was a member of the St. Andrew the Apostle Parish.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph L. Sampler Jr.; and her 13 siblings. She was the last living sibling of 14 brothers and sisters.
Surviving to chersih her memory are her children, Joan (Dennis) Reed, Victoria (Charles) Hewitt, Joseph Sampler, and Patrick (Beth) Sampler; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass on Monday July 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM in St. Andrew the Apostle Parish Donora Campus.
Interment will be at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA at a later date.
