Betty Curran's Obituary
Betty A. Curran, 79 of Donora, PA died on Monday, August 12, 2013, at The New Dawn Thorpe's Personal Care in Charleroi, PA.
She was born Saturday, May 5, 1934 in Donora, PA the daughter of the late Peter and Julia (Herman) Pasterick.
Betty lived for her family and especially cherished the time spent with her grandcildren.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband Harry Curran Jr. on Sept. 4, 1999 and a sister Millie Pasterick.
Surviving are daughter Michele (Paul) Sasko of Rostraver Twp.; and son, William (Jayne) Curran of Monessen; Grandchildren, Blake Curran, Leah, Matthew and Marla Sasko; sister, Dolores Roberts of Perryopolis; brothers Bill Pasterick of Tenessee and Eugene Pasterick of Belle Vernon; also several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, August 15, 2013, at Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, Pennsylvania 15033 (724) 379-6900. www.massafrafuneralhome.com
A Funeral service will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday at Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. with the Very Rev. Fr. Igor R. Soroka officiating.
Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA.
