She is also survived by a sister Norma (Vince) Malena and brothers Charles (Mary) Wincer and Fred Bowen.

Carole was a strong and wise woman who was progressive before it was fashionable to be progressive. She welcomed everyone into our home unconditionally and taught us to be inclusive of everyone. She was creative and independent and instilled those qualities in her children and grandchildren. She wove our family together as a quilt using love, laughter, tolerance and resilience. Mom you taught us to pray and prayer has been a huge factor in our success, however, your humor saved our souls!!
