Cecelia Ann "Annie" Matsick, age 93, of Donora, PA, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 26, 2025, at her home with her loving family by her side.

She was born August 12, 1931 in Pittsburgh the daughter of the late Arthur Smith and the late Marie O'Donnell Smith.

She was a member of the St. Michael Byzantine Rite Catholic Church.

Annie worked as a Nurses Aide at Haven Crest from 1966 to 1994.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Thomas B. Matsick; a son Thomas B. Matsick Jr.;a daughter Susan Fafalios; a sister Helen Marche; and a brother John A. Smith.

Annie was loved by everyone and will be sadly missed.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Anna Marie Gaskill, Pamela Lynn, and Michael (Terri) Matsick; eight grandchildren; ten Great Grandchildren; nine Great Great Grandchildren; a sister, Mary Shipley; and several nieces and nephews

Arrangements are being handled by Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Thursday January 30, 2025 at 9:30 AM followed by a 10:00 AM Funeral Liturgy in St. Michael Byzantine Rite Catholic Church.

Entombment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA
