Dorothea Lee Grossi, age 88, of Canonsburg, PA, formerly of Donora, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015, at Washington Hospital in Washington, PA surrounded by her children.

She was born August 19, 1926 in Parkersburg, WV the daughter of the late Orrie Dale and Opal (Adams) Smith.

She was a member of the Calvary United Presbyterian Church in Donora, PA.

Dorothea worked as a bookkeeper/retail associate at the K-Mart in Pleasant Hills, PA

In addition to her parents, Dorothea was preceded in death by her husband Fred Grossi on July 20, 2004; a son, Frederick G. Grossi on April 5, 2006; and her stepfather, Jack Adams.

Survivors include a daughter, Sherry Lee Grossi of Canonsburg, PA;; a son Jeffrey L. Grossi of Canonsburg, PA; grandchildren Sarah (Ian) Klutch of NC, Jeffrey L. Grossi Jr. of Colorado, Rachel Marie Grossi of Baldwin and Taylor K. Grossi of Baldwin; a great grandaughter Alyssa Grossi; a cousin Vera Joy Campa of Warren, OH; sisters and brother in law, Margaret O'Leary of Pittsburgh, Lucille Ventrice of Greensburg and John and Susie Grossi of Brookline; and a dear family friend, Dale Breakiron

Arrangements are being handled by Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 www.massafrafuneralhome.com where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday, May 11, 2015. Funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 12, 2015, with Rev. James Bailey officiating.

Interment will follow at Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth, PA

A luncheon will follow the interment in Calvary Presbyterian Church hall in Donora, PA
