Dorothy Vayansky, age 94, of Monongahela, PA, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at her home with her loving family by her side.

She was born June 9, 1930 in Perryopolis, PA the daughter of the late Martin Novak and the late Ann (Torkish) Novak

She was a member of the St. Michael Byzantine Rite Catholic Church.

Dorothy loved Hawaii and visited there 13 times throughout her life.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph A. Vayansky; son-in-law Arthur Stuart Parquette; and her brother Richard Novak.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughters, Judith (Robert) Law of Nashville, Karen Deringer of Carroll Twp. and Cheryl Parquette of Donora; a son Joseph M. (Cheryl) Vayansky of Carroll Twp.; three grandsons Adrian (Laurie) Law, Zachary (Alison) Law and Edward Parquette; and two great grandsons, Noah (Caroline) Law and Ryan Law.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Sunday, December 15, 2024. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Monday December 16,2024 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Liturgy in St. Michael Byzantine Rite Catholic Church at 10:00 AM.

Interment will follow St. Michael Cemetery, Donora, PA
