Gloria Sawa's Obituary
Gloria Sawa, age 97, of Donora, PA, died Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital in Carroll Twp., PA.
She was born September 3, 1925 in N. Charleroi, PA, the daughter of the late Dino Rosini and the late Alice Zandarelli Rosini.
She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish.
Gloria retired from Corning Glass where she was employed as a Purchasing Clerk.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Frank J. Sawa; and her brother Roland Rosini.
Surviving to cherish her memory is her son Scott Sawa and his wife Connie, her grandson Matthew Sawa, sister-in-law JoAnne Rossini, niece Maria (James) Greaves and great nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, January 18, 2023. Funeral services will be held at the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. at 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 19, 2023.
Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela, PA
