Helen Loftus' Obituary
Helen Loftus, age 88, of Donora, PA, died Thursday, August 7, 2014, at Kenric Manor in Donora, PA.
She was born September 5, 1925 in Donora the daughter of the late Pete and Ann (Stofko) Francis.
She was a member of the Our Lady of the Valley Church.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by, five brothers, Raymond, Thomas, Jack, Bill, and Joseph Francis.
She is survived by her husband; William "Harry" Loftus; a son, Thomas Loftus of Donora; two grandsons, Thomas Loftus of San Francisco, CA and Joseph Loftus of Paoli, PA; also several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 www.massafrafuneralhome.com where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, August 10, 2014. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 9:30 AM followed by a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Valley Church in Donora with Rev. Fr. Pierre M Falkenhan as celebrant.
Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Twp. PA
