Irene Boros' Obituary
Irene Anita Rocheny Boros, age 91, of Donora, PA, died Thursday, October 13, 2016, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Jefferson Hills, PA.
She was born July 30, 1925 at home in Donora the only daughter of George and Maria (Stofko) Rocheny. She was the last survivor of her immediate family. On May 18, 1947 she married Michael R. Boros
Irene spent her entire life devoted to her faith. She was a member of the Third Order of Saint Francis, Christian Mothers, C.D. of A., Confraternity of the Most Holy Rosary, The Blue Army and was a Eucharistic Minister.
She will be missed very, very much. Love you Mom.
In addition to her parents she was proceded in death by her husband Michael in 2010; Brothers, George, Michael, John and Paul; a wonderful and special daughter-in-law Kathleen Boros; and her loving and most faithful protector Smutti.
Survivors include her three children, Mark D. Boros of Fallowfield Twp., Linda (Richard) Cipa, Donora, and Mariann A. Boros of Donora; grandchildren, Christina (Bill) Brombacher of Cranberry Twp., Tammy Renee (Roderic) Henson of Monongahela, Damian M. and Jeff Bomba of West Mifflin, Kristopher Marciak of Monongahela, Matthew (Kathy) Marciak of Cecil Twp., and Katie (Rick) Hamilton of Delaware; great grandchil;dren, Allison and Austin Brombacher and Braden Henson, Sadie Henson Kristopher Marciak, Tyler and Marie Marciak, Albert Richard and Ashton Hamilton; and faithful protector Doray.
Arrangements are being handled by Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Sunday, October 16, 2016. Panachida services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday October 17, 2016 at 9:30 M followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10:00 AM in St. Michael Byzantine Rite Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Stephen Wahal as celebrant.
Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, Donora, PA
