Jessie F Palko, age 93, of Donora, PA, died Thursday, July 16, 2015, at Monongahela Valley Hospital in Carroll Twp., PA.

She was born on Wednesday April 26, 1922 in Donora the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Leniek) Opatkiewicz.

She was a member of the Our Lady of the Valley Church in Donora.

In addition to her parents, Jessie was preceded in death by her husband Frank Palko in 1981; two daughters, Dorothy Hudak and Eileen Pollins; also six sisters and three brothers.

Survivors include her daughter Patricia (Paul) Sabo of Charleroi; six grandchildren, Diane Hudak (Jim) Boyle, Debra Hudak Keating, Thomas M. (Heather) Hudak, Jennifer Pollins, Stefan P. (Sarah) Sabo and Anna J. Sabo; five great grandchildren, Jimmy, Ryan, Lauryn, and Owen Boyle and Thomas Maxwell Hudak; also several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 www.massafrafuneralhome.com where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Sunday, July 19, 2015. Prayers will be recited in the funeral at 9:30 AM on Monday July 20, 2015 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Valley Church at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Fr. Pierre M Falkenhan as celebrant.

Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela, PA
