Jose Garcia, 59, of Donora, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Tuesday April 1, 2014 in his home.
He was born Monday July 5, 1954 in New Eagle, the son of the late Bennie and Peggy (Paxton) Garcia.
Jose was a graduate of Ringgold High School Class of 1973. He was employed by Mathies Mine after graduation where he worked for many years.
Jose loved to ride his Harley and was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He also loved to travel and watch old movies. Jose was truly larger than life, a fun guy, always smiling, joking and will be missed by all.
He was a member of the Donora Eagles, St. Dominic Men's Club, the Donora American Legion, and Fireman's Clubs #1 and #2 both of Monessen.
In addition to his parents, Jose was preceded in death by a brother, Bennie Garcia; a sister, Beverly Milasincic; and a brother-in-law Matt Milasincic.
Survivors include his two sisters, Penny Garcia Naylor of Monessen and Peggy (Darryl) Snyder of San Francisco, CA; a brother, Russell (Janet) Hoade of Greer, South Carolina; nieces and nephews, Sara Naylor, Melissa (Barry May) Garcia, Paige Milasincic, Heather Milasincic and her son Gage and Matthew Milasincic.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
