Josephine "Jay" Delsandro, age 88, of Donora, PA, died Sunday, November 1, 2015, at Nevaeh Cove Personal Care in N. Charleroi, PA.

She was a member of the Our Lady of the Valley Church in Donora.

Jay was a retired employee of Corning Glass Works in Charleroi.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul A Delsandro Sr.; two sisters, Ida Guliano and Mickey Kovach; and a brother Michael Guliano

Survivors include her children, Paul A. (Mary Gene) Delsandro Jr. of Carroll Twp., JoAnn (Michael) Megela of Donora and Jerry (Joan ) Delsandro of NY; grandchildren, Erica Delsandro, David (Danielle) Delsandro, Michael Megela Jr., Susan (Ed) Eschinger, Judy (Virgil) Page, Janette Delsandro and Jackie (Mike) Moran; two great grandchildren; a sister Mary Gross; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 www.massafrafuneralhome.com where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, November 2, 2015. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Tuesday November 3, 2015 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of the Valley Church at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Fr. Pierre M Falkenhan as celebrant.

Interment will be at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA

The family suggests that memorial contributions in Jay's name be made to the Donora Public Library.
