Joyce J. Shilling, 80 of Charleroi, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at her home.

She was born in Ogden, Utah on July 21, 1939, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Della Johnson.

Joyce enjoyed crafting, crocheting and embroidering. She also loved to cook and spoil her grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Shilling on July 10, 1999.

She is survived by her children, Pamela (Gary) Abernathy of Maryland, David Shilling of Minnesota, Evelyn (David) Hansen of Morgantown, and Angelia Novisel of Charleroi; grandchildren, Lynn Marie (Michael) Gale of Florida, Daniel (Krystal) Abernathy of Maryland, Sara (Alex) Roduold of North Dakota, Neva Shilling of North Dakota, Emily Shilling of North Dakota, James (Breanna) Hansen of West Virginia, Stephen Hansen of West Virginia, Glenn Hansen of West Virginia, Sean Novisel of Hawaii, and Tyler Novisel of Charleroi; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Amelia, Sophia, Kenny, Alivia, Brayden, Ryley, Kaylee, and Madison; one sister, LaRae DeCroot of Utah; and her family dog, Ziggy.

Services will be private at the request of the family.
