Kata Vukich, age 99, of Donora, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 5th 2023 at Jefferson Hills Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Jefferson Hills, PA.

She was born in Croatia on April 7, 1924. The daughter of the late Ivan Kapusta and the late Anica (Zupan).

Predeceased by her first husband Mijo Spehar along with her brother Juraj Kapusta, sisters Barka Benac and Anka Kolic. Also predeceased by her second husband Kuzman "August" Vukich.

Beloved stepmother of Dane (Nedeljka –both deceased) Spehar, Branko (Francika) Spehar, Zarko (Marica) Spehar. Mother to Ivan (Marjeta) Spehar, Mijo (Marjeta) Spehar and Andelka (Franjo) Kolic.
Proud grandmother to Steven, Tony, Ivica and Susan; Kathy, Nada and Erik (deceased); Drazen; Borut and Ivana; Anita and Robert; Mirjana, John and Christina and their families. She also leaves behind many great-grandchildren.

Kata will be remembered by family and friends in the United States of America, Canada, Croatia and Australia.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900. Friends will be received Friday December 8th , 2023 from 9 – 11am with service and interment to follow.
