Kathleen "Kittsie" Behanna, 85, of Monongahela, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2025, at UPMC Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born July 22, 1940, in Canonsburg, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Valeria (Capiola) Hundzienski.

Kittsie was a dedicated employee at Fisher Heights Giant Eagle since 1981, exemplifying an extraordinary work ethic by missing only three days in 45 years. Her passions included gardening vibrant flowers, painting, and exploring craft shows and covered bridge festivals with her cherished friend, Diane "DeeDee" Palm. Above all, Kittsie treasured traveling and spending time with her sister, Carol.

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Behanna (2007), daughter, Michelle Behanna (2020), and brothers, Kenneth and Joseph Hundzienski, Jr., Kittsie is survived by her son, Michael (Jennifer) Behanna; grandsons, Wade Michael and Shane Robert Behanna; and sisters, Valeria Parganos of New York, Patricia Veres of Canonsburg, and Carol Bell of Canonsburg.

Friends will be received at ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Carroll Township/Donora, PA 15033, (724) 379-6900, on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 10 AM until a noon service with the Rev. Fr. Robert Hanna officiating. Entombment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
