Kathryn M. "Kathy" (Ketchel) Gutierrez, age 67, of Donora, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2026, at Country Care Manor, Fayette City. She was born in Uniontown on August 6, 1959, a daughter of the late Peter Joseph and Patricia Ann (Mack) Ketchel.

Kathy worked as a secretary for several years for Westinghouse. She and her husband, Denny, loved traveling and going on vacations together. They were kind people who were straight forward and were never afraid to tell you how it is. They both enjoyed having backyard BBQ's and parties, loved the countryside, and were animal lovers who were known for raising pitbulls. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dennis Gutierrez on March 9, 2025; and two siblings, Michael Ketchel and Karen Jean (Ketchel) Oliver.

Surviving to cherish her memory are two sisters, Suzanne (Ketchel) Morris and Patricia (Ketchel) Hillegas and husband Jeff; several nieces and nephews, 7 great-nieces and great-nephews, and several cousins.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., Domenic M. Ferrari-funeral director, 40 Second St. Ext., Carroll Township/Donora, PA 15033, (724) 379-6900, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2026. A service will take place at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 12, 2026. Private interment will take place at Mon Valley Memorial Park.
