Lon R. Cooke, age 76, of Donora, PA, passed away suddenly Friday, September 1, 2023, at his home in Donora, PA.

He was born July 2, 1947 in Uniontown, PA the son of the late Harold and Roseanne Cooke.

Lon was veteran of Viet Nam serving as a Cpl with the US Marine Corp.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife Louise (Fincik) Cooke; children, Lon Cooke III, Harold Cooke, Allen Cooke, Cecelia Geyer, Shelly Rabe and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; Stepchildren; Edward Zelenick, Jeffrey (Bobbie Jo) Zelenick, Kimberly (Ron) Struniak and Sylvia Zelenick; Grandchildren, Tyler, Jennifer, Joshua, and Zachary; Great Grandson Cutler; and a sister Sandra Cooke of Ohio.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, September 6, 2023. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:30 AM, Thursday, September 7, 2023, with Deacon Al Poroda officiating.

Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA
