Marian A. (Dolnak) Riley, 89, of Donora, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Mon Valley Care Center. She was born in Donora on December 13, 1936, a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Starch) Dolnak.
She was Catholic by faith and a longtime member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, the former St. Phillip Neri Church, where she was very active making countless servings of coleslaw for the fish fry dinners. Marian worked as a secretary for Combustion Engineering where she met her husband, Robert and later worked as a secretary for Representative Peter J. Daley. She also was an avid volunteer for many years with the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Monessen.
She and her husband Bob enjoyed traveling in their RV across the United States especially to South Dakota, Cape Cod and the Atlantic beaches; and most especially enjoyed visiting Disney World. Marian inherited a love for cooking from her mother and proudly grew a garden full of fresh vegetables.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Robert Eugene Riley, Jr., on January 10, 2026.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her three first cousins, Mary Jane Charitan, Judith Dyer, and Alfred Vogt and several other relatives and friends who loved her. A special thank you to Dr. John and Debra Danek, Karen Wall and Sofia Janol, for all the love, care and friendship they showed to Marian and Eugene over the years.
