Mary Ann Davis, age 79, of Monongahela, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, May 21, 2026.

Born in North Charleroi on February 19, 1947, she was a daughter of the late George and Ann (Homa) Vayansky. She was Byzantine Catholic by faith and a member of St. Michael Byzantine Church. She was a teacher for over thirty years at West Newton Elementary. Mrs. Davis was an avid bowler who loved building puzzles and crafting. She was a great baker and never missed an opportunity to bake cookies for family wedding cookie tables and graduation parties.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jaymie Zayac.

Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband of 36 years, Gary L. Davis; three children, Shelly (Steve) Timmins of South Fayette, Stacey Antonucci of California, PA, and Gary Davis, II of Finleyville; a son in-law, Matt Zayac of Finleyville, six grandchildren, Brandon, Dylan, Hunter, Mikayla, Levi, and Madelyn; three siblings, George "Dubbs" Vayansky, Robert Vayansky, and Janice (Charles) Stirling; nieces and nephews: George Allen (Meghan) Vayansky, Janna Stirling, Amanda (Ryan) Rago, Ike Vayansky and Annie Vayansky; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Carroll Township/Donora, PA 15033, (724) 379-6900, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. A Parastas service will be held in the funeral home at 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening.

Prayers will be recited in the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Service at St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, Donora, with the Rev. Fr. Brian Norrell officiating. Entombment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela.
