Mary Kassa, age 103, of Donora, PA passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Vida Springs Senior Living and Personal Care Home in Monongahela, PA.

She was born in Porter Township, Huntingdon County, PA the daughter of the late Paul Sambol and the late Mary Brokup Sambol.

She was a catholic by faith and a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish.

Both Mary and her husband graduated with the June 1940 class of Donora High School.

In addition to her parents Mary was preceded in death by her husband Joseph in 1994; a son Joseph Jr. in 2013; brothers Joseph, John, Steve, William, Paul and Francis; and sisters Ann Salasovic, Eva Brletich, and Susan Petrus.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her sons Paul A. Kassa and wife Annette of Stevensville, MD and Andrew J. Kassa and wife Edie (Koskoski) of Monongahela, PA; Grandsons Jason, Devin (Callee), Samuel (Kyle), and Lukas (Heather); granddaughters Kaylee and Andrea; Great grandchildren Nicollette, Josiah, Baer, Charlotte, Elowyn, Landon, Emersyn, Cole and Susannah; also many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, June 23, 2025. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 24, 2025 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home.

Interment will follow in St. Dominic Cemetery, Donora, PA
