Maureen Zelinsky, age 64, of Scenery Hill, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at UPMC Washington Hospital.

Born in Trenton, NJ on August 7, 1961, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Patricia Joanne (Lantzy) East. She was Catholic by faith. Mrs. Zelinsky was a down-to-earth, thoughtful and kind soul who always put her family first. She loved going out of her way for others and would do anything for anyone. She loved angels and anything Disney related.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Bruce, Nancy, and Kathy; a niece, Christine; and her father in-law, Thomas Zelinsky.

Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband, Thomas J. Zelinsky; two children, Thomas (Leah) Zelinsky of Madison, OH; and Jessica Zelinsky of Pleasant Hills; a brother, Chuckie (Marge) East; a sister, Donna (Craig Mullins) East; her mother in-law, Joan Zelinsky of Monongahela; and nieces, Ashley and Jillian East, Melissa Aker, Shannon Zelinsky, Jennifer Wright, and Kat Mullins.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext., Carroll Township/Donora, PA 15033, (724) 379-6900, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2026, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at. St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, Donora site. Interment will follow at St. Dominic Cemetery, Donora.
