Michael Lutz's Obituary
Michael Lutz, age 82, of Carroll Twp. PA, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at Nevaeh Cove in N. Charleroi, PA.
He was born December 24, 1931 in Donora, the son of the late Dominic and Emma (Todd) Lutz and his stepfather Earl Greenwood.
Michael was a veteran serving in Korea with the U.S. Navy.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death bu two sisters, Valerie Oliveri and Millie Veltri.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lucille Fronzaglio Lutz; a son, James Lutz and his wife Brenda of California, PA; a daughter, Diane Filipczyk of Belle Vernon, PA; three grandchildren, Megan, Krystle and James Jr.; two step grandchildren, Ashley Martin and David Panzone; eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Ben Greenwood and his wife Karen of Belle Vernon and Paul Lutz of Monongahela; also several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 www.massafrafuneralhome.com where friend will be received on Friday August 15, 2014 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM .
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Derrick Neill offficiating.
Interment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA
