Nancy L. Davis, age 78, of Monongahela, formerly of Fayette City, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026, at her home. She was born in Connellsville on August 31, 1947, a daughter of the late George Franklin and Anna Alverda (Stangroom) Griest. She worked for Allied Block Therm-O-Rock in New Eagle for many years. Nancy enjoyed traveling to Indiana to visit with family, was a hard worker all her life, loved her coffee and religiously had a pot of coffee a day. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 15 siblings. Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband, Paul J. Davis, Jr., whom she would have celebrated 60 years of marriage with in June; four children, Paul (Amy) Davis of Sutersville, Kim Coates of Pittsburgh, Ron (Angel) Davis of Donora, Amy Davis of Monongahela; grandchildren, Denny, Christian, Tyler, Dominic, Colton, Julianne; a brother, Donald Griest of New York; and numerous nieces and nephews.
