Rita J Gojich, 89 of Donora passed away peacefully at Cambridge Creekside Care Home surrounded by her family.

She was born on March 14, 1935 in Donora the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth Cameron Orient.

She was a proud graduate of Donora High School. On Nov 3, 1953, Rita married the love of her life Edward Gojich. They shared 54 wonderful years of marriage.

In her younger years, she was very active in many social clubs and several card clubs with longtime friends and neighbors. She was a master bridge player and enjoyed teaching it. She was an active member of the women's association in Calvary Presbyterian church and headed up many committees for her school class reunions.

She was the family's cruise director happiest spending time with her children and grandchildren at Wildwood Beach, Disney, her family cabin in Western Maryland and cruising Deep Creek Lake on captain Ed's boat.

She is survived by her beloved children Edward (Lucy) Gojich of Etters PA, Carol Regal of Donora, Susan(Louis) Rosa of Carroll TWP, cherished Grandchildren Ryan (Vickie) Gojich, Laura (Chuck) Pollick, Jeffery Gojich, Kelli (Lilly) Gojich and her 8 beautiful Great-Grandchildren, loving Sister Mavis Perney from Monessen and many adored Nieces and Nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her beloved husband Edward Gojich, Sisters Margaret Sanko and Elizabeth Paraschak, Brother in law William Paraschak and Russell Perney, Nephew Russell Perney Jr.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 3, 2024 with Rev. Don Glunt officiating.

Interment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA
