Rita Sivak, 73 of Donora, PA died on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Jefferson Hills, PA.
She was born Friday, September 22, 1939 in N. Charleroi, PA, the daughter of the late Albert and Magdeline (Pekar) Dickert.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Husband Donald Sivak in 1992; a son David Sivak in 2007; and a brother Albert Dickert.
Surviving are daughter, Jeanette Weeks and husband David of West Elizabeth, PA.; sons, Mike Sivak of N. Belle Vernon, Don Sivak of Donora, and Philip Sivak and his wife Christina of Greensboro, PA; a brother, Richard Dickert of Donora; sisters, Geraldine Michaloski of Charleroi, Christine Petrosky of Donora, Madeline Kimball of Rostraver Twp., and Joanie Anderson of Donora; grandchildren, Beth and William Weeks and Anya, Ksyena and Maksim Sivak.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, September 13, 2013, at Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Carroll Twp. / Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900. www.massafrafuneralhome.com
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday at Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. located at 40 Second Street Extension Donora, Pennsylvania 15033 with the Very Rev. Fr. Igor R. Soroka officiating.
Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery, Monongahela, PA.
Parastas services will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 7:00 PM
