Robert "Bob" Sickles, age 80, of Carroll Township, passed away following a lengthy illness on Monday, March 30, 2026.
Born on October 1, 1945, Bob lived a life centered on family, service, and community. He was a proud Vietnam veteran who served in the United States Air Force with honor. Robert loved the beach and being outdoors.
Bob was a loving and devoted husband to his wife of fifty-five years, Dorian Sickles. He was also a proud and caring father to his three children: Rob (Denise) Sickles, Heather (Jason) Rodebaugh, and Ashley (Christian) Mochnaly. He will also be missed by a sister, Janet Keith of Coral Gables, Florida and a brother, Walter (Jill) Sickles of Lutz, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Mary Sonafelt.
A dedicated and involved father, Bob, spent many years coaching his children in soccer, creating lasting memories both on and off the field. He was an active member of his church choir and enjoyed playing in a bocce league prior to his illness.
He will be remembered for his kindness, dedication, and unwavering love for his family. Bob will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
