Rose (Noakes) Martinez, age 78, of Finleyville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

She was born in Pittsburgh on May 3, 1947, the daughter of the late John and Mary Prokup Noakes. Rose was an animal lover who loved taking care of everyone's pets and enjoyed helping others. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald M. Martinez; and two sons, Jeffrey and Eric Martinez. Surviving to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Christy Milner of Boston, MA and Dana (Jaison) Stark of Bentleyville; four grandchildren, Jacob, Madison, Jeffrey, and Donovan and her faithful great-grand dog, Taz.

At Rose's request there will be no viewing or services. Private interment will take place at Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the South Hills Pet Rescue, 15 Old 88, South Park Township, PA, 15129.
