Rosemarie (Beres) (Carlson) Minix, age 86, of Carroll Twp., PA, died Sunday, September 4, 2016, at her home with her loving family by her side.

She was born on April 1, 1930 in Monessen, PA.

Rosemarie was an avid sports fan. She especially enjoyed attending the athletic events of her grandchildren. She was a big Pittsburgh Pirate and Penguin fan.She loved to cook and was an avid bingo player and enjoyed her trips to the casino at the Meadows.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Cliff Carlson and her second husband Robert Minix.

Survivors include her children, Karen Strickland of Carroll Twp., Cliff Carlson of Carroll Twp., Ted (Zorka) Carlson of Donora and Patricia Livingston of Carroll Twp.; six grandchildren, Amanda (Aric), Eric (Gina), Alex (Samantha), Chad (Angie), Don, and Kayla (Cody); nine great grandchildren, Sydnee, Alex, Wyatt, Isabella, Geno, Olivia, Vanille, Landon and Jordan; also an aunt Joan Beres.

Arrangements are being handled by Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, September 7, 2016. Funeral services will be at the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 8, 2016.

Interment will be at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA
