Sue Svrcek, 91, of Donora, died 16 November 2015. She was born August 18th, 1924, daughter of the late Ovidio and Esperanza (Hope) Ibanez. She graduated from West Penn Hospital's School of Nursing in 1947 and worked many years as a school nurse for Donora and Ringgold School Districts. She was known to her students as "Miss Susie"
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Albert Svrcek. She is survived by two daughters, Hope (Bob Girasek) Hilandera of Sacramento, CA and Lia (Glenn) Anderson of Lorton, VA.; one brother, Dr. Manual (Jane)Ibanez of Corpus Christi, TX. ; one sister, Libertad Perez of Luanco, Spain; grandaughter Abigail (Anthony)Farthing of Winfield, IL., grandson Stuart (Christy) Anderson of Killeen, TX; a cousin Maria Perez of Farmington, MI, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
