Verna Syplywchak's Obituary
Verna F. Syplywchak, 93 of Monongahela, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at Penn Highlands Monongahela Valley Hospital.
She was born in Footedale, PA on August 7, 1928, a daughter of the late Charles and Pearl Campbell Reeves.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Syplywchak on July 19, 2008; two sisters, Ruth Hnot and Darlene Zook; and a brother, Chuck Reeves.
Surviving to cherish her memory are two daughters, Janet (Michael) Scrip of Fallowfield Township and Jill (Richard) Baldwin of Rostraver Township; a son, Scott Syplywchak of North Charleroi; grandchildren, Michael (Kim), Matthew (Erin), Danielle, Melissa, Richie, Alison, and Sarah; great-grandchildren, Abby, Mia, Mason, and Cole; a sister, Linda Davis of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
At the request of the family, private visitation and funeral services were held. Entombment followed at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
A special thank you to SPHS Services for their compassion and excellent care, also a very special thank you to her caretakers Betty and Ida and her wonderful neighbors Donnie and Jeff.
